10.11.10: Halloween FHE

Two tickets to a Halloween cruise on the Provo River: $7

Seeing Rex dressed up as a vampire in the cape I wore as a baby (I added a mustache to make him look more manacle, even though, according to Greg vampires don't have mustaches. Well, according to Stephanie Myer, they don't wear capes or have widow's peeks either)
(Rex was too busy waving bye-bye to Greg as he pulled the car around to look at the camera, but here's close up for you)
Me and Rex on the boat with Rex screaming because he didn't want to wear a life jacket so we took the life jacket off and floated around the Provo River looking at carved funkins and Halloween-themed twinkle lights: glad we only paid $7
Going to a bakery to overcome the disappointment from a semi-lame Halloween Cruise that was nothing like Jungle Cruise as the website promised and eating pumpkin cake bites: $5 for 6 (a little over-priced but still tasty.)
Total cost: $12

Worth it? The cake bites were good. By the end of our 25 minute cruise Rex had finally relaxed and was enjoying himself, but I'm still not sure it was completely worth it. We'll give the cruise 75% worth it but mostly because I got to dress Rex up and because I got to be with my family.

  1. The Christmas cruise is no better...Actually pretty lame. Rex looks adorable though

  2. Oh yes, the Provo river cruises, pretty sure I've been on both a Halloween one and a Christmas one...or was it one regular one and one holiday themed one? I can't remember but it was more fun to make fun of it probably than to go on it for sure!
