This is from October, but apparently I forgot to blog about it until today.
For about a month, Henry insisted on going to work with Greg every morning. To ensure that he was not left behind, Henry followed Greg around all morning, bringing Greg his shoes and then sitting on Greg's lap while he put his shoes on, then standing at the door waiting for Greg to gather the last of his things. Then Henry would drive to the end of the driveway with Greg, where I would retrieve Henry. On very special days, Greg would loop around to the neighbor's driveway and then down ours again for an extra long truck ride. If Henry didn't get to go to work with Dad, he'd cry for a good 10 minutes while standing at the door. I thought it was precious; Greg was not a huge fan but played along anyway.

The power of a father's love cannot be underestimated.
