First experience with marshmallows
First experience mixing on the stove
1/2 cold milk + 1/2 hot chocolate= disgusting. Rex asked for plain milk after trying a bit.
Fluffy Hot Chocolate
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1-1/2 cups marshmallows
Combine in medium saucepan over medium heat.
Cons: Tasted like melted marshmallows dipped in weakly flavored chocolate.
Pros: Took about 5 minutes to make and I had all the ingredients on hand. Had this not been such a fast recipe this would have had to have been another break night--2 hours is hardly enough time to eat dinner, do an activity, and get ready for bed.
