12.13.10: Twelve

Gingerbread houses. Well, technically house.

Greg and I decided it's a good thing we were doing this with just Greg and not any of our more crafty friends, because neither one of us has the patience or ability to make a ginger bread house look good. Add Rex to the mix, and well, we pretty much just made a huge mess. But Rex had fun. First, he ate a bunch of candy. Then he sat in a sugar-induced semi-coma for a while. Then he put some candy on the house. Then he poured an entire jar of colored sugar on the house. He licked his hands and rubbed them in the colored sugar. Next, he used me as a ladder to get onto the table. Then he took a bath. Now he is asleep.

Did I mention that even with a kit of pre-made and cut house, frosting, candy, and step-by-step instructions our house still ended up looking like it did? Greg and I have no patience for these things.
Starting. Did I mention that Rex legitmately thinks this is a jacket? I told him to put his coat on today and he went to his closet and picked this out. It was cute so I let him wear it.
