Rex brings me a book.
Me: Take it to Daddy. He'll read it to you while I clean up your toys.
Rex takes book to Daddy; Daddy reads book to Rex.
Family scripture study/Greg and I read the children's reader of the Book of Mormon while Rex attempts to break the blinds; family prayer; good night kisses; put Rex in bed.
15 minutes later
Rex: *scream* *cry* *cry some more* *whine* *scream*
Me: Rex, sweetie it's bedtime. Lie down and go to sleep
Rex scretches out his arms, which I can't resist. He wiggles down, picks out a story and brings it to me. I give in. "One story," I say. And I'm true to my word, I read him one story and then rock him for a few minutes. I attempt to place him back in his crib but he screams and cries so I prop him up on his pillow and give him a book. He reads it to himself as I leave the room.

You need to get what David calls a boy light. Check Amazon for the Mobi TykeLight Jr. my boys LOVE it and it turns off after 15 minutes. PS Rex is getting big and he is darling.
