On Alice

My last post of pretty much about me and what I did for Alice for her birthday because I am so amazing.  So I decided that maybe I should share a bit about just Alice.

Alice is a drama queen.  She's definitely got the tantrum on the floor thing down, but (luckily) uses this technique sparingly, as I usually just laugh at her.

Alice is a fashionista.  You've seen a few of her favorite outfits.  Currently she is refuses to wear shoes and socks at the same time or anything that covers up her legs or arms.  No jeans or sweaters for this girl.  She also likes to put on every single one of her one million dresses every Sunday in a death battle with Dad.

Alice is spoiled.  She still hates pooping so to get her to sit on the potty long enough to poop I have to paint her finger and toe nails several times, then do her make up and curl her hair.

Aside from the nail painting, Alice is a 4-year-old boy.  She (tries to) pee on trees.  She loves Mater and Lightening McQueen.  She gets frustrated with her little fingers when she can't quite do the little Legos all by herself.

Alice is loud.  And quiet.  She's pretty shy around strangers and can be quiet the little devil at home--she's the kid you go looking for if you haven't heard from her in more than 2 minutes.  But then, again, she can be pretty loud.  She's recently discovered kicking the wall next to her crib gets her out of bed pretty fast.

But most of all, Alice is a sweet heart.  She thanks me for everything.  Give her a band aid "Thank you Mommy."  Do her hair, "Thank you Mommy."  Get her blanket, "Thank you Mommy."  I also hear a lot of "I luf you Mommy."  And she's a dang good hugger--grabs onto your neck like there's no tomorrow.

The point is, despite all her "No Mommies!" and still not sleeping through the night, we've decided to keep her.

And now for her traditional bathroom shot, not the same bathroom but you get the point.
