Ever since Greg built Rex's swing set 2 months ago, I have been nearly constantly checking KSL for a slide just to miss slide after slide after slide. And then, a few nights ago, just as I was getting ready to call it a night, I decided to check KSL one more time and OMG a slide had just been put up an hour before. It was 11 pm so I text the lady, then I emailed her, and then I waited for the reply.
And waited.
And waited.
Ok, I didn't really wait that long, she text back just a few minutes later. The slide was mine! But she wanted me to come get it the next morning at 6:45 am in Sugar House.
Small sacrifice.
I could've kissed her.
And she only charged me $15. Little did she know what slides are going for on KSL--over $50 for most of them, some as much as $400. I ended up paying $18.50 because I only had a $20 and she only had $1.50 in change.

And now I have a slide, and it is soooo long.
Too bad my hips are too big to fit down it, but Rex's aren't so it will just have to do.
So happy for you and Rex. He looks so small in this picture. How long is that slide anyways?
