Isn't my baby going to be so cute? The pants I made from a pattern I sized down from a 2T, so it'll work for several more years and it was only $2. As for material, I used a pair of 16 women's pants from DI that I'm hoping to also make a pair of shorts out of. Those were $6. But I also used the zipper and button from the DI pants to make the Rex pants. I tried to thirft some of Greg's ties to make the tie and suspenders for Rex, but Greg liked all the ties that I like so I had to buy new fabric! What?! But I sewed snaps onto the suspender so that the hooks are removeable, meaning, reusable for several pairs of suspender.s The hat and shirt I bought at Children's Place at 20% off. All in all, I don't know how much I spent exactly, but Rex is going to be so cute. Wait for Sunday for more pictures, this time with the whole family. (I made myself a matching flower and picked out a matching outfit for Greg. I'm glad he plays along).
Aren't we miss holly housewife..I'm impressed. Mom always reminds me that you are the domestic one.
