Rex: being a 5-year-old boy and refusing to come inside.
Alice: was a mess--Popsicle all up in her hair, mixed with sweat, mixed with who know what.

The perfect quite summer (it's basically summer here) evening.
wow! as soon as I saw the picture of Henry I thought, "he looks like Heather." I wish we all lived a little closer, we had so much fun growing up close to each other.
