My favorite NICU nurse made this for Rex when he was 5 pounds 10 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. That was eleven months ago, and the little sweater and booties just now fit him. There's also a hat, but, unfortunately, Rex has outgrown it. The nurse said Rex was a complicated baby, hence the multi-colored selves, but that Dad (Greg) was blue, hence the blue front. I know she sounds crazy, but Charlotte (or at least that's what I think her name is) cared. The rest of the nurse just poked the poor little guy without a second thought. So thanks crazy nurse who actually cared for my child while he was being held captive.

It finally fits!
